Inset Frames are designed to showcase artwork that has been painted directly onto an art board. Usually, the artwork is created with oil or acrylic paints and is applied directly to a canvas board that is about 3mm thick. The board fits directly into the recessed section at the front of the Inset Frame, so when displayed, the edges of the artist board are visible, guaranteeing that no part of the artwork is hidden by a rebate or mount.

All the frames are made with real wood mouldings and are supplied with hanging and fitting fixtures. The hanging fixtures incorporate D Rings, Screws and Cord which needs to be attached to the reverse of the frames, whilst the fitting kit includes velcro dots which secure the canvas board in the frame. Oil and Acrylic paintings are framed without any glazing in front of them, so Inset Frames are not supplied with any glazing as glazing cannot be used with this framing method.
All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days and sent via a next working day courier(most UK addresses). Deliveries to some areas of the UK can take 2-4 working days. Weekends and Bank Holidays are not working days so we do not dispatch or deliver on these days. Also, we don't send out any orders while we're closed for Christmas and until we get back open in early January.
Delivery to most UK Addresses is £7.20 for orders under £50 or free for orders over £50, however, some areas incur a higher charge due to increased courier costs.
